  • Yavapai Lodge - great location for a stunning stay!

    Lodge is really convenient and excellent value for a stay at the park. The room was large, clean and close to the parking and main lodge and convenience store for good food, drink, souvenirs and equipment. The Lodge is central for driving around the park and Yavapai Point is a 30 minute walk along a rim-edge pathway with stunning views.

  • A perfect time

    This place is simply superb!
    My wife and I booked a room for a couple of days and we drove up from Vegas.
    On arrival booking in took minutes and we were directed to our lodge by a very polite receptionist.
    The room was very clean, well appointed and the AC worked perfectly.
    Breakfast was cheap and plentiful (especially the pancakes) so we were quite full when we popped onto the bus to take us up to the south rim.
    Our trip was a retirement present and it was worth every single penny.
    Get up there for a visit you will not regret it!

Yes, some of our rooms are pet-friendly.

Grand Canyon National Park allows leashed dogs on named trails above the rim (not on any inner Canyon trails for their safety and yours).

Walk the South Rim for great views and a safe, pet-friendly hike.

You’ll get to see some of the big draws of the Grand Canyon:

  • Yavapai, Hopi, Mojave and Mather Points.
  • Stop by Yavapai Tavern to grab a drink and enjoy lunch on the patio with your BFF (best furry friend).
  • Check out Desert View to cool off with some ice cream.
  • Shop at Yavapai Lodge Gift Shop and pick up a souvenir for your favorite sidekick!

Check in through our registration desk at Yavapai Lodge, staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week or check in through our convenient Kiosk. Check-in time is after 3:00 p.m. and check out is before 11:00 a.m.

Yes, WiFi is available at the Yavapai Lodge main building (WiFi is not available in Yavapai Lodge guestrooms). HOWEVER, due to our remote location, the WiFi has limited bandwidth and is not ideal for downloading, streaming, Skype, etc.

Yes! Guests of Yavapai Lodge have the option to Choose a Greener Stay:
