Ranger Programs

In addition to the Grand Canyon’s many historical sites, Native American ruins and museums, there are also must-experience guided hikes and tours given by knowledgeable park rangers. Ranger programs are free, and cover subjects like the Grand Canyon’s geology, fossils and Native American cultures, as well as the plants and animals that make this place so special.

The Grand Canyon Field Institute also offers educational tours, which combine the excitement of hiking, backpacking, camping and whitewater rafting with topics like ecology, geology and archaeology.
